This itinerary has been very popular for those with only a short time to spend in Cusco who prefer not to hike the trail but go in classic style by train and overnight below the Lost City of the Incas Machupicchu. This includes flights Lima -Cusco –Lima. You can also add on extensions to Lake Titicaca, the Amazon Manu or Puerto Maldonado and or Arequipa. Day 1 Flight Lima to Cusco. ( Your check-in and the boarding pass for these E tickets can be printed out 48 hours before your flight online) Reception in Cusco airport and Transfer to your Hotel in Cusco , At 13:45 pm Guided Cusco City Tour : Koricancha "Sun Temple" ,Cusco Principal Cathedral, Saqsayhuaman Inca Complex,Tambo Machay,Qenqo and Puca-Pucara. Overnight Hotel Marqueses.
Day 2 At 08:45 am Sacred Valley Tour with a Buffet Lunch in Urubamba, we will visit the Typical Pisac Market, 2 hours guided walk into the Pisac Inca Ruins Complex, Ollantaytambo and Chincheros. Returning approx at 18:45 pm to Cusco , Overnight Hotel Marqueses.
Day 3 2 Day Machupicchu Special Excursion with Overnight Hostal Viajeros in Aguas Calientes. At 06:20 Collect from Marqueses Hotel and transfer to the Train Station; 4.5 hours ride to Aguas Calientes-Machupicchu Train Station. Free time to explore the town ;
- Optional Hike to Mardorpampa waterfall;
- Botanical Garden and Machupicchu Museum ( fee of us$6 pp) or
- Climbing to Putucusi Mountain for the most fit person.
- Night Hostal Viajeros in Aguas Calientes, 1 Lunch and 1 Dinner included.
Day 4 At 05:45 am an early bus up to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu with a Guided Tour to the most relevant Temples and Residences; plenty of time to Explore Machupicchu, time to climb the Huayna Picchu mountain 2,700 mts, the Sungate Inti punku and the Inca Bridge situated on the left-south of the Park; Bus down included. At 16:20 Train return to Cusco Transfer to your Hotel in Cusco. Overnight Hotel Marqueses.
Day 5 Adios Cusco Last chance for Souvenir Shopping in Cusco; Optional time to visit the Weaving Center Museum in Sol Ave. Transfer to the Airport - Flight to Lima.
